BICS - a Study into COPD
This study involves at people with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) who have two or more flare up (exacerbations) of their COPD a year.
The aim of the study is looking to understand if a drug called bisoprolol (a beta- blocker) can reduce the risk of these flare ups of their breathing condition and also improve life expectancy. If you have COPD you may be invited by the research team to take part.
