Care 75 Frailty Study
The aim of the CARE75+ study is to understand why some people remain fit and resilient in older age but others develop health problems and frailty. ‘Frailty’ is a medical term used to describe a decline in a persons body. People with frailty often have weak muscles, walk slowly and get exhausted very easily. Some people are better able to cope with these changes, but we don’t know why.
If you choose to take part you will be asked some questions about your health and wellbeing and you will be asked to undergo some simple physical assessments and measurements. This will take place in your own home. You will be followed up again at 6 months. 1, 2 and 4 years.
