At Claremont Medical Practice we pride ourselves on providing excellent access to the highest standards of healthcare. We are a dynamic, innovative Practice across three sites providing high quality care to over 15,000 patients in the gorgeous seaside town of Exmouth.

Our three sites are Claremont Medical Practice, Underhill Surgery and Raleigh Surgery. Claremont Medical Practice is situated in the heart of the town and adjacent to the Exmouth Community Hospital and the Minor Injuries Unit. It is ideally placed to be accessed by all residents, with on-site free parking and a Pharmacy next door. Underhill Surgery is situated in the centre of beautiful Lympstone and is a convenient and friendly practice serving the population of Lympstone, there is an onsite dispensing pharmacy to registered patients. Raleigh Surgery is located in the Brixington area of Exmouth and offers an excellent service to the local residents.

We are an enthusiastic training practice with close links to the University of Exeter, University of Plymouth and the General Practice training scheme in East Devon. We regularly host GP registrars, medical students and nursing students as well as training other allied health professionals. We provide cover for the inpatient ward at the Exmouth Community Hospital to facilitate the patients of Exmouth the rehabilitate following an inpatient stay at the RD&E and transition to returning home. We are also actively involved in research and there are a number of projects running across all three sites that patients can get involved with if they would like and are eligible. We offer a personal, friendly service whilst aiming to provide continuing high quality medical care to all our Patients. With this in mind we have a charter setting out the standards of service you should expect and also a user's guide to help us give you the best possible service. As a result of our high standards, our Practice has also been accredited for the training of Doctors in General Practice.

Claremont Medical Practice is in the area covered by Northern, Eastern & Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group. The CCG is responsible for ensuring you get all the services you need.
