Exciting Covid Booster News!
The threat from the Omicron variant has resulted in a nationwide request from NHS England for General Practice to urgently direct attention to the vaccine program.
As a result, we are offering walk-in Covid Vaccinations at Claremont Medical Practice to all Claremont and Underhill Surgery Patients are:
12-17 years old and have not had their first or second doses
18 year and over who received their second dose more than 3 months ago.
This service will take place at the Claremont Medical Practice, continuing between now and Christmas to ensure that all Claremont and Underhill patients can receive this vital booster dose.
We are working with GP colleagues across the local area to ensure that all Practices will be able to offer the same. If anyone you know is registered with another Practice, advise them to check that Practice's website and social media for details of their service.
As queues have been very short and speed is critical, we would like to invite all patients to attend whenever the can. You do not need to wait for a time slot - just turn up! Most patients are waiting 5-10mins at most.
